I also favor people volunteering and making a contribution, promoting well-being, faith and motivation, and less drain or strain on the government by a complacent people who want something for nothing. Crime control, and positive social programs, giving people self-esteem and a sense of humble (not selfish, greedy or narcissistic) pride would also be common interests, and good topics.
A strong human identity, together with a national identity and pride with common goals, would unite people and raise our levels of happiness, while all may reap the rewards.
Instead, I see pockets of people here and there, who are pulling things apart, and have self-interests, instead of building something together, with a big picture mentality. United we stand, and divided we are already falling into breakdown of morals and integrity, complacency and destruction from within. Cohesion and a safe and viable society are in danger of extinction - then it will be lawlessness and living in a jungle, or in regional special-interest areas, like having wars over turf, and resources.
This is not calling for a New World Order, it is the opposite. Instead of competition and survival of the fittest, and uniformity for all, it is about cooperation within our unique abilities and views. So, that would be the type of blog I would like to see.

Hi,
It depends on how much unique (static) content you have in those 2 different versions of pages. Rule of thumb is to have at least 60% content difference for search engines to consider those pages as different pages.
Otherwise, search engines will see them as duplicate pages, and depending on which page they found first, and which page has more inbound links, they will consider one as the original page and discard the other as the duplicate page.
For you to be able to control which page search engines consider as the original page (so that you can focus your link building activities for that page), I would suggest adding code to the other version of the page to instruct the search engines not to index that page.
If you want both pages to be indexed by the search engines and get ranked, you need to make the content for these pages at least 60% different.

Yes this is a web page that the search engines will crawl and index. When optimizing your articles you will want a keyword relevant page title (some directories will not let you control this), the article title with relevant keywords in it as well as the content of the article itself. Any time you link to the site you are trying to promote, use keyword text as the link refer instead of the site name. So if you are trying to promote blue widgets for widgets.com you would use a link of "lowest priced blue widgets" instead of just "widgets.com". This way the link uses keywords that point back to your website. The search engines love these types of links pointing back to your site instead of just the site name. Other then that do not stuff your article full of keywords or trying and optimize it for 15 different keyword phrases as it probably will not sound right and look spammy to the search engines.Steve

I suggest you do a search for the phrase you want to rank high for, and analyze the first ten results, use that information to make your own page better. Try to make sure your own page has better information than those first ten results. Check how many inbound links each of the top sites has, and compare it to how many your own page has....try to get more than the top page!
Once google has indexed your page, and it is showing in results, you will need to go through everything again, so that you can try to improve on the ranking you have.
Dont ever stop trying to build links to the site!
Submit your website to authority website directories, bookmarking websites, social networks etc.
SEO is an ongoing process, even when you are ranking high, you will need to keep up with building links and watching the competition websites, while you monitor your sites position in the results.

1) I personally blog because its just a way for me to vent how I feel about certain events that go on in my life. Even though I blog about my life, I don't read blogs that deal with other people's lives unless its a personal friend I know. I do read tech blogs though, they usually hold great information. Overall, there are tons of different types of blogs, and they can all hold lots of valuable information/life lessons.2) One of the biggest benefits of blogging is the fact that you can build a community. Depending on how popular your blog is, you will hear feedback from your readers on whatever you write about. Also, when I had my own tech blog, it totally helped me get a job at Best Buy!
3) Many people use Tumblr, Blogger, and WordPress. Even though Tumblr is probably one of the most popular websites for beginning bloggers, I still prefer WordPress. What makes the biggest difference though between those websites are the templates (website designs) they offer. I'd suggest trying out all 3 of them and personally see which feels best with you.

This may sound really silly, but it works for a lot of people. Take a paper plate and cut a hole out of the middle. This is where you will attach your video camera lens. On the paper plate draw a face. Now when you talk to the camera it will feel like you are talking to a person. You could name your new plate-person-friend something silly. What Is Google+?
So, what is Google+? Google+ sounds like the prettier, younger sister of Facebook, but with similar user characteristics and a sleek, clean, barely touched by annoying advertisements interface (so far). Whats the big deal with using Google+, besides gaining social media geek street cred? Its what Google learned from other social media platforms that makes all the difference in how you interact with your friends, family, and co-workers.
With the failure of Wave and Buzz its no wonder that Google was anxious in the release of Google+. The issue with the previous features was perhaps that it wasnt given enough of a chance to generate a solid user base, especially with the excessive popularity of Facebook and Twitter. Google limiting the amount of new users accepted during the field testing trial is annoying when you want to instantly connect with your friends and family when the invite process is on hold until further notice. One of the appeals of using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social networking sites, is that theres already a massive user base instead of a small group of fortunate techies. So much potential is being harnessed due to limited access to invitations.
Limited access isnt the only frustrating aspect of Google+. New are providing feedback, hopefully being used to further better the new social networking site. In an article written by Ben Parr, users discussed areas where Google+ can be improved, such as being able to connect with Google Apps. Another was to add a stream search, a Facebook feature that allows you to search your friends content for specific information. As with all beta testing there isnt much use in complaining too much about annoyances as its being constantly being updated.
Now for the fun part, whats awesome about Google+. The biggest talked about feature is creating Circles. Now you dont have to worry about your Aunt Susan seeing your party pictures from the weekend nor do your friends need to see baby pictures of your second cousin, whom theyve never met. The creation of circles allows you to share what you want to share with specifically those who actually care about what youre sharing, especially with the instant upload of photos from your mobile device. You can share what you find searching through Sparks, which is similar to Stumbleupon. Websites are generated in a newsfeed that are related to your key word interests that you can save.
Facebook has group chat ability but the majority of the groups created are based on a general interest or subject with thousands of members. Google+ has a feature called Huddle which allows you to create group chats via text messaging with your friends only. Its reminiscent of a group chat on AIM but more accessible because its on your phone. The Hangout aspect allows you to basically do a Huddle but with the addition of video. Its an alternative option to Skype and you can have up to 10 users in a Hangout without having to pay a premium price for that feature.
The simply designed interface is easy enough to navigate even for the most basic internet user. Youre able to use Google+ along with other Google tabs, like Gmail and Reader. Its just another extension (get it, Google plus) of the toolbar. You can connect with friends and family and surf the web without ever having to leave Google. Facebook and Twitter cant do that. We see what you did there Google and it was clever.
Lastly, there are some well appreciated privacy elements to Google+. You can disable comments on your posts and you can disable other users sharing your posts to their friends, a big added bonus. Also, you can defriend someone without offending them by simply removing them from your circles. They no longer can see what you share but avoid that awkward moment where they find out that they cant see your page anymore. Of course, if blocking is necessary that option is available as well.
All in all, what is Google+? It provides competition for other social networking sites that shouldnt be taken lightly. However, once you get your hands on an invite, established sites will have the leg up until Google+ is open to anyone and everyone. The fact that its new and unavailable will also generate interest but people arent just going to drop their Facebook or Twitter accounts just yet. Well just have to wait and see if Google+ lives up to the hype and hopefully it wont disappoint.
